comic thirteen - all my friends are ghosts, part four

Before I get into more ghost stuff, I want to take time to thank my readers out there (all three of you!) Some of you guys know this, some of you don't, but June 22nd is my birthday and marks the 1 year anniversary of this comic being online. Let's hope for many more years! Enough of that sappy stuff though. Now more ghost stuff!

All right, well, this is the last part of the "ghosts" story arc, so I guess I'm going to tell you some more random facts, along with a ghost story!

Terry's house is based on my friend Lisa's house. I have to say that, growing up, I was terrified of this house. It was always dark inside, and there was one wall that was just a mirror. A glass case in the living room also held these creepy clown figurines as well. (Lisa, if you're reading this, I'm sorry, but those clowns were SCARY AS HECK)

I know I'm not the best at drawing backgrounds, and I apologize for that, but when I picture this comic in my head, and the location, I see my friend Lisa's house every single time!

I never really entirely believed in ghosts until I entered this house. I had my first paranormal experience here, if you can call it that. I don't expect anyone to believe me, hell, I don't even know if I would believe it if someone told me this, but I know what I saw, and it was weird.

Her sister had been in a car accident that day, and we were in the house alone, because everyone else was at the hospital. The door was locked. I went over to her refrigerator and turned into the hallway. I saw someone standing there, staring right back at me. I don't know if it was just a trick of the light, or if I actually saw something, but I do know this: I can describe what this person looked like down to the color hair he had. My first thought, naturally, was that her father had come home and was going up the stairs (that's where I saw this... thing. by the stairs.) No one was home though. It was just us. (insert twilight zone music here!)

Anyway, take what you want from that story. Even I don't know exactly what happened that day, but I know this: It was really weird and creepy, whatever it was!

If it weren't for all the things I've written about that happened in my life involving ghosts, and ghost stories, I don't think this comic could have happened, because aside from everything else, ghosts and ghost stories are definitely the number one influence in my life as far as the writing of this comic goes!

Hope you enjoyed it, and stay tuned next month for the new story arc, and my new page layout that I'll be trying!
