comic ten - all my friends are ghosts, part one

So... it was only a matter of time before I had to address this subject. What am I talking about? Well... GHOSTS, of course! I LOVE 'EM!

This entire comic centers around ghosts. I always needed an underlying story for this comic series, and while sitting in my friend Mark's "inspirational" garage (for some reason I get the best ideas there) I realized that the only thing that could tie this whole disjointed mess of a comic together was ghosts!

For as long as I can remember, I have been absolutely obsessed with ghosts, skeletons, and other things that go bump in the night. One of my favorite books as a kid was this scooby doo book that had some ghosts in it. I also had this "choose your own adventure" book about a haunted house that I would read OVER AND OVER AND OVER again! While most kids were playing "Barbie and Ken kiss and do boring things", my friends and I were playing "make a haunted house in sara's basement"!

This story was originally written in 9th grade, and it took place in my house, rather than Terry's ... I'm really incredibly surprised how much of this story stayed in tact, though, to be quite honest. The villain has changed, but I really didn't like the original guy anyway. I pretty much just sat down and took what I wrote as a kid, and fixed it so it was coherent.

Anyway, I wrote a novel, and I'll write more about this story next month, because there really is quite a bit of backstory that goes along with this particular comic! I hope you enjoy it. Of all the comics that you will read in this series, this particular story has probably been around the longest!
