Right, so ... more stuff about ghosts.
I have this vivid memory in 9th grade of when I first conceived this comic. My friend Lisa was really into ghosts, and we had been doing something "ghost related" as usual. It involved the back, unfinished area of my cellar, these red, round crystals, and a story about a creepy ghost named Jean Baptiste. (I have no idea why his name was that, but gimme a break, we were in 9th grade!)
That night, I remember lying in bed, and I got this image in my head of these green ghosts, circling my character and lighting up like little flashes on the wall. They were green with bright red eyes. I could see it so vividly. I woke up the next morning and wrote the very first version of this comic.
This particular story, as I mentioned last month, has gone through so many rewrites, but it somehow still retains the original story and purpose, much better than the other ones do, at least. You'll see, as I get farther into this comic series, that many of these comics have been around for a very long time.
Unfortunately, though, poor old Jean Baptiste did not make the cut, and got replaced by another villain. Oh well. What's he gonna do, come back and haunt me?
...
maybe I should write him back in :O
