Oh have I longed to write this comic. It’s finally out there. I can’t believe it. This comic is a mashed together version of my “favorite comic ever” and an old story that I had written back in 9th grade. Naturally, when it comes time to actually write my “favorite comic ever”, things will have to be changed a bit to accommodate, but I’m okay with that.

This comic is about Heather, and to be quite honest, I don’t know where Heather’s character came from. She showed up in the second comic I ever wrote starring Jeremy. Something surprising you should know is that back then, I hated Jeremy Patton. I hated him with a passion. It was my plan in 8th or 9th grade to actually kill him off I hated him so much. I don’t know what happened to that. I remember the first comic that featured Heather quite well, and Jeremy was definitely supposed to die. I think that was around the time that I fell in love with his character, and the story you are about to read was born.

I won’t give away anything about this comic, but I will say that this particular aspect of the story makes Jeremy way less of a jerk. This is the first time we see a glimpse into why Jeremy might be the way he is, and I have to say, it’s been quite fulfilling to actually be able to flesh out his character a bit.
